BLOGIVERSARY FEATURE: One Year Stats and One Year of Favourite Books

As of October 10th, it has been one year since I devoted myself fully to this blog! In case you’ve missed the story about the blog, I actually started in in November of 2009, but was very off and on about posting. I’d post a review here and there and really didn’t know there was a community of book bloggers to talk to. I don’t consider this to be my blogiversary — instead, I consider October 10th of last year to be the birth of the blog. That was when I decided to post frequently AND to find other people like me, who also love books!

Would you like to see these books?

Well, since you asked nicely.

  1. Happy blogoversary!
We’re almost blog twins — mine is either late September or late October — there were some technical issues in that first month.
Love your blog and wishing you a fantastic year two!

  2. Damn, it is INSANE how many books you manage to read in a year! I am quite jealous because I could never manage that with my slow reading speed. I’ve read a few of your favourite reads from the past year – and they are some of my favourites, too – but I still really need to read The Girl of Fire and Thorns and This Dark Endeavor because I just KNOW I am going to adore them. By the way, have you read the sequels for those ones yet?

  3. It does feel longer than a year Kristilyn. Congrats to a successful fun year, you have made great changes quickly too. I do wish I had more time to read like you.

    Look forward to many more.

Night Road was on my top ten last year. I love her.

  4. Yay – congrats on the blogiversary! Mine is October too – and I’ve read and loved some of the books you mentioned – Across the Universe, The Girl of Fire and Thorns and Divergent. I still haven’t gotten around to A Fault in Our Stars – but I hope to before the year is out.

  5. You have had an awesome year of reading/blogging my dear! It’s hard to choose just a certain amount of awesome books too, but great job doing that, so many books on your list that I loved too! Can’t wait to compare your stats for next year πŸ™‚ Girl of Fire and Thorns and Ann and the French Kiss are probably my favourite from there!

  6. Your first year was INCREDIBLE! You are a spectacular blogger and have had great success and a lot of fun! I look forward to many more years!

  7. Oooh I love seeing the evolution of the designs here. I didn’t know that you used to have different names as well! So cool. Love that the most popular feature was Meet The Edmonton Book Bloggers cause they all pretty much rock!

  9. Congrats on such an awesome year! I love stats haha! (This post must have taken you some time to put together!) I liked seeing your past blog headers…you’re so very talented! πŸ™‚ I’ve only read a few of the books on your favorites list – it must be difficult to pick when you’ve read over 200 books in a year!

    Here’s to another awesome year!
