15 Day Book Blogger Challenge | Day Eleven (Hosted by Good Books & Good Wine)

15-Day-Challenge_thumb[3]

The very awesome April over at Good Books and Good Wine is hosting this 15 DAY CHALLENGE for book bloggers! I’ll admit that my love of blogging has wained in the last few months since learning I was pregnant, but I’m ready to get that love back (which started with reading an ENTIRE BOOK!) … I hope this helps!

Today’s question: Show off five of your best blog posts!

Wow — this one was so hard! I guess with the five posts that I’m showing below, I might be a little biased (since I wrote them and all), but they have to be my favourite posts from the last 4 years.

1. Discussion: Vampires vs. Zombies

I love this discussion because it was so fun to write and pokes a lot of fun at zombies — something I’m not totally on board with yet.

And with that one has to be …

2. Why Zombies Are Better Than Vampires (A Zombie’s Rebuttal)

It was so much fun to get in the head of a zombie to write why a vampire isn’t the best character. I love getting snarky in posts like this!

3. Discussion: Things I’ve Learned Since Becoming a Book Blogger

Whenever I feel a little down or stressed about blogging, it’s great to go back to this post to remind myself of the things I don’t necessarily need to do as a blogger.

4. Any Musical Saturday post.

I love doing Musical Saturdays! I wish I could do more of them, but it takes a lot of work to write the songs, record the songs for download, record the video, etc. But I do love writing bookish songs and I’m so proud of the songs I’ve written so far!

5. Discussion: What It Takes To Be A Book Blogger (Or, Why It’s Not As Easy As It Looks)

This post was written before I took a blogging break and I think it was because I looked at the list and thought about how many things on the list I was doing for my blog — it was overwhelming! It’s one of my favourite posts because it’s really an eye-opening to what book bloggers really do for their blogs.

I also have to mention one other thing, which isn’t a blog post, but a newspaper article I was interviewed for about book blogging! It was really great to get some local recognition!
