Book Hoarder’s Selection (45): Just Listen by Sarah Dessen

book hoarder new-01

BOOK HOARDER’S SELECTION, is a feature of Reading In Winter, which will feature one book from my collection that I plan to read in the coming week. These are NOT review books, but books I’ve purchased or have been gifted, which have been neglected for a long time.

just listenTITLE: Just Listen

AUTHOR: Sarah Dessen

HOW LONG I’VE HAD IT: Since March 2013.

WHY I’M READING IT: It’s Sarah Dessen! I’ve loved Sarah’s work since I first read Along for the Ride. After that I made sure I read at least one of her books every few months and have been falling more and more in love ever since … And this one has to do with music! I love music books, so that should make this an even more enjoyable read!

To find the truth, you’ve got to be willing to hear it.

When she’s modeling, Annabel is the picture of perfection.

But her real life is far from perfect.

Fortunately, she’s got Owen. He’s intense, music-obsessed, and dedicated to always telling the truth.

And most of all, he’s determined to make Annabel happy…

Have you read this book?

  1. OMG it’s so terrible that I think I’ve read this one but can’t remember!! I know I’ve read a Sarah Dressen book and I’m pretty sure it was this one. I liked it…whichever one it was. Hope you enjoy!

And March 2013 isn’t bad. I’ve had some books unread on my shelf for 10 years now…Ooops!

    • This happens to me all the time! I remember picking up a book from my shelf, getting through a few chapters, and then realizing that I’d already read it. I have the memory of a walnut, I tell ya.

My home is where my books are. - Ellen Thompson
